Heart Disease That Could Affect Your Life
Heart disease is a medical condition that can affect the body most commonly the heart muscles and blood vessels. Heart disease can be classified into a number of different strata. They are as follows: Coronary heart disease, Heart failure, and Cardiac arrhythmias. There are many reasons that can aggravate heart disease which is why one must make the right choices early in life before the damage becomes irreversible.
Coronary heart disease: Coronary heart disease is the most common and simplest form of heart disease that affects a large number of people all over the globe. Coronary heart disease is also known as arteriosclerosis and is caused due to narrowing of blood vessels leading to the heart. The narrowing of arteries is caused due to deposits of fat which result in cardiac problems like angina. Angina is also known as heart attack and is a medical condition wherein an individual suffers from wheezing and shortness of breath that radiates from the chest outwards. The pain usually radiates from the chest outwards but it can be confused with heartburn and indigestion.
Those who have symptoms of angina are high risk subjects and need to take appropriate medical advice to protect themselves from such medical ailments. The worst part about coronary disease is that it clogs the blood vessels of the heart thereby forcing the heart to pump blood at a faster pace and with more pressure than required. In this case over exertion takes a toll on the heart muscles causing pain and thereby resulting in a cardiac arrest type of situation.
Cardiac arrhythmias: There are many individuals who have weak hearts. These individuals at times may experience a sudden quickness in the heart beat or a sudden slowness, at times not related to the job they are doing at the moment. This quickening and slowing down of the heart is known as cardiac arrhythmias and needs to be treated by a physician/cardiologist. These sudden flutters and missing beats may not be a sign of concern in most cases as everyone suffers from these situations after a run or before starting hard and strenuous work. Those suffering from such instances should visit their cardiologist immediately and start a dose of medication to help alleviate symptoms and avoid heart failure.
Heart failure: Heart failure is the main cause of death most heart trouble related cases. Heart failure is basically related to the and stages of heart disease where the heart is unable to pump blood to most parts of the body due to blockages in the vessels or leakages that are present within the heart walls. In most cases heart failure is usually accompanied with pain radiating from the left side of the cheat and slowly moving up the chest wall to the shoulders and the neck. It is also accompanied with shortness of breath and wheezing. Chest pains at times may be confused with indigestion and heartburn and one should call for medical help if they feel that they are experiencing heart failure (heart attack). In order to prevent this disease from ravaging your body you need to maintain a healthy diet and at the same time exercise and make sure that your health stays in top condition.
